Diesel Hot Rod Association announced today that a portion of the event earnings will be donated to the NSW Foundation. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation provides for the Active duty SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen, and Warrior’s of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community.  “We typically set out a jar and ask folks to donate to the Foundation.” CEO Eric McBride told DHRAonline today. “Either that, or we auction off SEAL shirts and hats and raise money that way.” Eric continued “This event we are going to try to raise more than we ever have by giving a portion of the gate and parking fees to NSW.”
The NSW Foundation, the official charity of the DHRA, helps to provide educational and motivational support and promote health and welfare programs for the active duty warriors in the Naval Special Warfare Community, the NSW Foundation also perpetuate the history and heritage of the U.S. Naval Commandos.
